Why are foids that like anime so, mid, and i dont even mean this disrespectfully. They all look so normal, like every other girl we will see. I expected them to either be really hideous or drop dead gorgeous like emiru pyari.

except nobody's pretending that franchises like purse owner aren't mainstream hell that is exactly what fatlus wanted to accomplish in the first place–they borrowed the SMT formula and made it capture a wider audience by combining it with life-sim and visual novel aspects set in a high school backdrop
most normies merely know surface level shit about weeb culture and despite that they love to pretend as fans so I wouldn't say real weebfaggotry is even mainstream
And thats a good thing.

Back in the day, it was battle shounen are mainstream, real anime is too underground. Now it's CGDCT is still underground.

The only real niche stuff are the manga that usually don't even get a fan translation.
My favorite anime is Seinfeld. It features a mysterious bar where two strangers arrive, unaware they are actually deceased. They are forced to play seemingly innocent party games, but the loser faces complete erasure.
seriously, what is even happening, i cant find any good anime anymore, i always used to have this feeling " ah this anime was good, i wonder if it is the time when i will hit the wall and there will be nothing good to watch" i completed logh and after that for 2-3 weeks i tried things like bakemonogatari and whatnot that i dont even remember their names anymore, now after lot of searching and gpt reccomendation. i ended up on this anime. i have watched 2 episodes. seems alright but not sure it will make me stick to itself despite having just 26 episodes.

>the animations nowadays look like hentei from 10 years ago
Not sure what you mean anon, the animation quality has went up by strides, though it lacks soul and feels so generic at times. I do understand not wanting to watch anime for timmies, niggers and pajeets.

>i tried things like bakemonogatari and whatnot that i dont even remember their names anymore
Thats just a taste issue if you did not like Bakemono, Nisemono or Nekomono. At that point, you need to remember its just a medium. If you like an anime, see who was the author and what studio worked on it, and see their other respective works. Do not act like a foid anon.
why is shonen trash most popular among jeets? i rarely encounter jeets on yt/mal/anilist who have good reccomendations and read anything that is not copy of some battle shonen like jjk or one piece. is it because we have a large pool of manchild who lack emotional maturity and intellectual depth.

>muh my anime is complex saaar
every single anime is braindead and retarded except few comedy one.
The medium carries it. It allows expression that is not possible irl direction atleast at lower cost.

i am not really watching for any specific reason. i am watching it because i am not bored of it yet. if i get bored in between i will likely not pick it up again.
