Indiachan collects the following data when you post:

• Your IP address (stored internally as hash, never displayed publicly)
• A browser fingerprint hash derived from technical browser/device signals (stored internally as a hash, never displayed publicly)
• Post content, images, and metadata you submit

How We Use It

• IP addresses and fingerprint hashes are used solely for moderation purposes (spam prevention, bans, ban evasion)
• A first-party posting cookie is used so your browser can identify its own posts (for example, to delete them)
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics

Cookies

For approximate “online users” counts (sitewide across the whole site on the home page, per board on board pages, or per thread on thread pages), the site may set a first-party cookie with a random opaque id (no personal data). When you post, the site may also set a first-party poster cookie with a random opaque id so your browser can identify its own posts, and a first-party fingerprint cookie used only for moderation and ban enforcement. A session cookie is set for moderators upon login.
