I feel very bad about all this. I don't even know what half of the world looks like and where these countries are.
It's the responsibility of education, the country and the press to educate the masses and they're compromised.

India has higher voter turnout percentage than most western countries (where there is no mandatory voting). For all their political activism westerners hardly vote, hardly participate in politics compared to Indians

in India, this is nearly impossible because outside of maybe TN and Kerala caste/tribe politics play kingmaker everywhere. Whether it's a tier-1 city like Delhi or a tier 99 village in Bihar
