Dont you mean catholic priests? The christian (protestants) were not really fond of centralised faith. Majority of christians are open ended community with free interpretation of faith as they please based on local churces. This is partially why catholism itseld does not allow gay marriage, transition, poly sexyual pre marrial relations or adultry but clearly, we can see that being case in christians in first world nation unlike catholics.

Metropolitan classic obviously, any, and i mean any metropolitan city is the one that adapted majority of western ideals with no fear of comsequences. Going from north to south, that will be Gurugram, The New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and obviously Bengaluru, all of them have created a class of folks where morality is non existent. This is not true for entire metropolitan but it takes high prominence and it will only saturate further in future, in the age of dopamine slavery thanks to internet.
