Starting to learn how to draw today since I've got way too much free time and honestly nothing else to do.
One thing that's already intimidating is the digital art softwares. I don't understand any of these programs, and I feel like it'll take me months just to learn how to use them properly before I can even master drawing.
Any drawfags got tips for a complete beginner?

Too much content for a beginner :/
>>953
Eh just rough sketch man I will experiment more in future

Kritia is for PC, I am using IPad currently how do you even draw using mouse?
>>956
yaar lucky you have a tab
I draw with my mouse and touchpad using stabilisers set on 2 in kleki.com
I tried running krita but it is too complex and difficult to run on my laptop
It is a pain in the ass

Don't, art is useless and Jewish
>imagine being so low iq you cant rise beyond your human brain programming to like weirdly organised pixels on a screen
even if you are that dumb, AI is going to kill every artist eventually, y'all can cope as much as you want but you can't compete with math and the entire world's computing resources hoarded by a few companies
>>984
I mean Yes you can use AI but what's the fun in that
we draw for fun not to make money
so why be scared of AI making drawings?
it lacks soul anyways
>>988
I don't waste my time engaging in Jewish activities, there probably is a lot of it around, matching everything created by the best of humans so much that they can't even tell it apart

Art is a meme concept just like most other human experiences, one considers whatever you have seen before, to a Nigger cave doodles are the best
I still have to learn shading, so I made this one using flat colors. It ended up looking a bit monotonous since the background and foreground have almost the same color palette. Once I get the hang of shading, I'll make a more refined version.

ooh nice drawing anon

What is the true art you speak of?
Do you even understand the emotion behind the paintings you call true art or do you just pretend like the others?
Art is fun be it anime art or serious art
You are not the one to decide what is true or false art
I am really confused about what to learn, I am not really intrested in anime art it's very easy to draw, but repetitive.
I will try other digital arts that take more time and practice, but are worth it.
Btw it's just past time hobby I do it for few hours per week.
I am not a NEET either.

>I am not really intrested in anime art it's very easy to draw, but repetitive.
...Have you tried learning how to do stuff like shading? So it actually looks good too?

I’m not an artfag, I’m a jeefag.
I was never really an anime fan, and I still don’t watch anime unless there’s something I genuinely want to watch. The last time I watched any anime was back in March.
That said, Chainsaw Man was probably the one anime that actually hit me hard, especially alongside the Reze movie. In Season 1, I really liked Himeno and her dynamic with Aki, so obviously I was pretty damn sad when she got erased out of existence.
Still miss her.
And I didn't read manga as I git know Aki also dies in future along with power and protagonist shifts in part 2 with that shitty ending.
Anyway, my character is based on her. I like the short-haired girls with big booba character archetype and there’s nothing wrong with having a specific design preference.
Taking a little break from here and overall online life to work on a fresh start. While I'm away, I'll be focusing on building better routines getting better sleep, trading in caffeine and cigarettes for healthier habits, and keeping my screen time under two hours a day.
Wishing everyone the absolute best, and see you when I'm back!

Same character but different kind of artstyle

I don't know bro, it's a fun hobby to have art is less about making something, and more about expressing something only you could.
does anyone here actually know how to use Blender? I opened it up today thinking I’d quickly mock something up, and instead I got brutally mindbroken by the interface

I only try making some very basic objects animation like bouncing ball, falling rain, some stickman animations and it takes too much time you need years of practice to master and do it efficiently right now and I still have to learn prospective.
>>951
Stick to pen and paper first. Digital gets way too overwhelming with all the settings and brushes when you're just starting out.
Focus on basic anatomy, and try around with styles like anime, realism, comics, or semi-realism to find your vibe. But most importantly, learn shading the second you figure out lighting, your art instantly looks 10x better and way more professional.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I’ve also been wanting to get back into doing art on paper. I’ve improved quite a lot and understand things better now, so I think next time I’ll probably try traditional paper art again.
It feels like most of the anons who used to draw here have left. I’m pretty much the only one left, and I really miss the old Jaggus. No one seems to make them anymore :/
If I can get my hands on collection of the old Jaggus, I might try making one myself and replicating that old art style.
I’ll probably be posting less frequently from now on, though. I’ve been getting busier and just don’t have as much time anymore.
Anyway, here’s my Sunday art the girl is inspired from a post I saw on /pol/. I’ll keep posting whenever I get the chance.
:)
