A cooperative text RP. Stay in character. No OOC politics, race-bait, or personal attacks. Setting: The year is unknown. Small tribes compete for land, rivers, trade, and alliances across a vast frontier. There are no chosen heroes or magic. Victory comes through diplomacy, planning, logistics, raids, farming, trade, and warfare. Factions: Aryans - Semi-nomadic pastoral tribes. - Strong horse culture. - Clan assemblies and chieftains. - Seeking new grazing land and alliances. Dravidians - Agricultural settlements and fortified towns. - Skilled craftsmen and merchants. - River-based economy. - Defending territory while expanding influence. Player Tags: Pick one identity and keep it throughout the thread. Examples: - AryanChief#1 - AryanScout#2 - DravidianElder#1 - DravidianCaptain#2 Rules - Minimum 3 players per faction. - One action per post. - No godmodding or controlling another player's character. - Consequences are permanent unless both sides agree otherwise. - Keep technology historically grounded. - No modern politics or ideology. - No racism, slurs(outside of character), derailing, flamebait. - If a conflict arises, let other players judge the outcome or settle it through discussion. Turn Format Name: Faction: Location: Action: Reasoning: Starting Situation: The first rains have ended. A fertile river valley lies between both peoples. Scouts report abandoned fields, old stone ruins, and signs that another unknown tribe may also be nearby. The first move belongs to whichever faction posts first. Please stay in character.
>>624 In a naarthie so i will choose Dravida just for the love of the game, i want to be the Dravidan elder, how do we choose our rank, who is going to be the captain
>>625 Aou're the first Dravidian to join, you may claim Dravidian Elder#1. Ranks aren't assigned by the me. Each faction decides its own hierarchy through roleplay. Once at least three players have joined a side, nominate a captain or chieftain. Until then, consider every faction leaderless.
I'm interested, what does the map look like? river position, size?
And what resources are already available? Are we settling or already settled? Are there any NPCs that can be recruited from the tribe?
Also since both teams would be able to see each others moves clearly any attempt tactical surprise would be useless and it'll just become a slurfest where mass wins.
>>624 This is not discord pajeet
>>624 indian version of kekistan?
>>631 Cool Idea
Name: Dravidian_prophet01 Faction: Dravidian Location:on the outskirts of ruins in the river valley. Action: a young guy of age 17 who is delusional and considers himself as a awakened being standa outside the ruins embracing the view and a city which was once glorious and now is gone. He waits for orders before going deep. Reasoning: the character has a main character syndrome( is primarily influenced by dune character arakkis. So play along u can choose to continue his insanity or u can just think of him as madman) he stands as a scout(inspired by aot) to look for places of his overpopulated town. And to build new fort. He just reached the rivers.
>>627 >>628 >>629 >Map I'll post a simple map after signups. A river runs through the center, forests are in the west, grasslands in the east, and hills in the north. Scale is abstract, though I'm still figuring out how maps will work in a text RP. >Starting position Both factions are already established. Each starts with one main settlement, several villages, livestock, stored grain, and basic Bronze/Iron Age technology. >Resources Food, timber, stone, clay, livestock, and metal deposits exist but must be controlled. >NPCs No idea about how to handle them. >Fog of war Players should only act on what their faction knows. Scouts and spies can be resolved by me (GM) first, but I doubt the RP will get immersive enough for this to matter much. The goal isn't to win it's to build a believable history together. Keep it grounded and play fair.
