In a naarthie so i will choose Dravida just for the love of the game, i want to be the Dravidan elder, how do we choose our rank, who is going to be the captain
>>625
Aou're the first Dravidian to join, you may claim Dravidian Elder#1.
Ranks aren't assigned by the me.
Each faction decides its own hierarchy through roleplay.
Once at least three players have joined a side, nominate a captain or chieftain.
Until then, consider every faction leaderless.
Also since both teams would be able to see each others moves clearly any attempt tactical surprise would be useless and it'll just become a slurfest where mass wins.
Name: Dravidian_prophet01
Faction: Dravidian
Location:on the outskirts of ruins in the river valley.
Action: a young guy of age 17 who is delusional and considers himself as a awakened being standa outside the ruins embracing the view and a city which was once glorious and now is gone.
He waits for orders before going deep.
Reasoning: the character has a main character syndrome( is primarily influenced by dune character arakkis. So play along u can choose to continue his insanity or u can just think of him as madman) he stands as a scout(inspired by aot) to look for places of his overpopulated town. And to build new fort.
He just reached the rivers.

>Map
I'll post a simple map after signups. A river runs through the center, forests are in the west, grasslands in the east, and hills in the north. Scale is abstract, though I'm still figuring out how maps will work in a text RP.
>Starting position
Both factions are already established. Each starts with one main settlement, several villages, livestock, stored grain, and basic Bronze/Iron Age technology.
>Resources
Food, timber, stone, clay, livestock, and metal deposits exist but must be controlled.
>NPCs
No idea about how to handle them.
>Fog of war
Players should only act on what their faction knows. Scouts and spies can be resolved by me (GM) first, but I doubt the RP will get immersive enough for this to matter much.
The goal isn't to win it's to build a believable history together. Keep it grounded and play fair.

My nigger, you cannot just post a thread titled “Aryan-Dravidian Standoff” and not expect kanging or genetics discussion.
But anyways as a Dravidian, I will have to pick Aryan for the love of the game like this guy: >>625
Damn!!!
Looks like they wanted the Dravidianz needed some handicapped because of how op we are.
In all seriousness what the fuck can 2 person do. we don't even have a prerequisite for electing a leader.
Also since Dravidians posted first that means I'm Dravidian_prophet01 so can I go first or just wait for the AFK player to respond.

>Aou're the first Dravidian to join, you may claim Dravidian Elder#1.
Done.
>Ranks aren't assigned by the me.>Each faction decides its own hierarchy through roleplay.>Once at least three players have joined a side, nominate a captain or chieftain.
I see, since i am first i get to be an elder, unless someone joins Dravida ranks who is good at war tactics, we will have to gung-ho this with brute force.
>Until then, consider every faction leaderless.
Hm, i see
>>645
Uh, as the elder of Dravidas we reject you, regardless of race a whore is still a whore and makes a poor mother over all, also you make us seem really desperate, no thanks.
>>657
If geography is in our favour we can still win, this is way before explosive, so no canons no guns, some bow and arrows, and even those can be taken care off with layered shields and some good terrain, low numbers still sadly

Morning mist drifted over the fields as an he reined in his horse before the Dasa village, a handful of mailed warriors waiting silently behind him.
I spoke in a calm, commanding voice.
Elders of this village, I have come for the tribute agreed upon at the last harvest. Render the grain and cattle that are due, and peace shall remain between us.
An elephant stomps his horse and a faint sound is heart before silence end up consuming the villagers at the war elephant of chieftainAs the titan continues to stomp and knead the corpse of mount snd the rider, the same fate meets the debt collector of the opposition, the bones and the muscles crushing under the weight and strength of mighty beast which he failed to see coming from behind, being unfamiliar with such beasts, nothing but pulp remains
Prepare your spears
Says the elderly man
Go, arm yourself, we must wipe them out, ask the native tribes to come join us, send scouts to each of them and we will meet them in battle, crushing them with the sheer number of 25 to 1, every single one.
The messenger arrived at dusk, his horse white with sweat. He fell to one knee before the gathered chiefs.
"Our chieftain is slain. The tribute band is destroyed."
Silence fell over the camp. Then the oldest war-chief stepped forward, his face like carved stone.
"So be it."
He drew his bronze sword and held it toward the darkening sky.
"Let every clan hear my word. They have broken guest-right and spilled Arya blood beneath a banner of peace. This shall not pass unanswered.
He turned to the assembled warriors.
"Send riders to every allied tribe. Call every spear-bearing man. Gather the herds, secure the women and children, and prepare the war-carts. We march at first light not for plunder, but for justice."
A murmur became a roar as spears struck shields.
The old chief mounted his horse.
"Stand fast. Fight as one people. Tomorrow, the clans ride under banner of Arya."
