This general celebrates the continuous civilization of Bharata from the Vedic period to the present day. We start with the Indo-Aryan migrations ~1500 BCE and the rise of Vedic culture, but also acknowledge the rich legacy of the Indus-Sarasvati civilization that came before. >>181 >>182 Bro, I was imagining an India-based RPG in the style of Elder Scrolls, with creative freedom turned all the way up. The chances of it happening ever soon are probably slim, but honestly, even seeing someone build out an elaborate world, deep lore, and a compelling storyline around that concept would be amazing.
Aryana Vaejah, the homeland of the Aryans, the Great Expanse beneath the northern sky. To the north lay the Hara Berezaiti, mountains of ice whose peaks pierce the belly of the sky, where the demon of winter sleeps. To the west, the shifting red sands where the sun bleeds its final light. Between these boundaries lay the pastureland an ocean of tall, silver-green grass rolling eastward into the sunrise. Two great rivers, the Oxo and the Yaxart, cut through the earth like the silver reins fed by the glaciers. Along these banks, the clay was rich, the forests thick with pine and birch. It was a land wide enough for a horse to run until its heart burst, and wide enough for a hundred kings to pitch their tents without seeing the smoke of fire of anothers.
