Here it depends on what subject you take, some dont care whether you come or not, some give you extra points for showing up and some require 100% attendance

lel i'm Rajput, back in Mithila we do janeus too before marriage too. ours is slightly different from the Brahmins doe. It's all dying out these days, barely anybody in my generation wears it even in the village

rn I'm on summer vacation so i'm currently working full-time with the agricultural department weeding fields and taking samples for the research guys. The pay is barely over minimum wage but it's enough to survive here, i'd rather suffer here than go back for 3 months and listen to my parents daily taunts about my marks
how's your dsa journey going? I also try to teach myself a bit of code in my free time (currently reading CSAPP) but it's way 2 hard to make real progress unless you build shit yourself instead of just reading the textbook imo

jhaant dsa yaar. my entire home was being painted, my room was out of order for a week. fir 1 hate pehle gaadi se gir bhi gaye. i was doing dsa, then i got busy for an ML hackathon,just a week ago i got the material and assignments for the online degree.

nothing really. just sit there, repeat the mantras after the pandit, go get head shave with a razor(i wish they would've just used a trimmer), repeat mantras again, go "begging" for "bhiksha" from your family members, come back, some more mantras, and then you're done. takes 3-4 hours.

i went through 2 15-packs of nicotex gums in a week. i might have developed an addiction. but it's more efficient in terms of nicotine per rupee than cigarettes.
