how do you guys torrent large files? I tried downloading a book from libgen with aria2 by splitting up the download into pieces but it keeps falling. Server is too slow and rejects too many requests before the download completes.
>>97 did you check your trackers?
>>97 yes please suggest anything for these slow downloads idm, udm, etc doesn't work
>>99 exactly. the browser keeps failing midway so I tried using a cli manager. same problem with Anna's archive too. the one I am trying to download is 477MB and the expected time is about 10h47m4s
>>98 >status=429 "Too Many Requests" tried a single proxy tool like wget and curl too. doesn't seem to work. download fails midway.
>>100 >>101 >anna's archive pretty sure you can opt for server download? I never had any problems with getting books from there also you cant do shit if the peer is slow in the first place
>>97 Would using a torrent CLI solve this?
>anna's archive Banned in India
>>102 I was trying with libgen at first. both fails. what's your usual workaround? aren't the fast severs paid ones?
>>104 nah works for me and the issue here is incomplete downloads
>>97 Which book anon?
>>105 back then zlib would have the book I was looking for and in case not anna's that was literally it kek
>>107 Simmon's calculus with analytic geometry 2nd ed
>>97 Bypassing the main library mirrors completely and requesting the file directly from open global web gateways seems to fix the issue
>>97 annas archive just werks on my machine you might just be using a shitty server, i click on like 3-4 to see their DL speeds and stick to the fastest after 10s

>>97 click this button chamaar
>>205 That's only a 2 MB file. Try a larger one. it'll take forever and IPFS gateways are faster
>>97 aria splits wont help if the server throttles you
