I am also confused between thinkpad e16 gen 3 ( ryzen 5 230, 16 gb ddr5) and m5 air thinkpad i can get for around 80k and m5 air at 1.5 lakhs

youre paying 30-40k extra on each pro max and if you look at apples last years profit after tax, apple is stealing another 30k from you. If you get pro max, get it in deep blue. Tho, 16 plus in teal is still borderline acceptable choice. I'd get 1+ 15R in BBD and keep rest for lappy

If green line was an issue, id just buy an ultra. Thats the most premium you get and if your use your phone a lot because its a comfy device, is justifiable. And with the dex mode you can use it as light compute. For when you really need to do something productive
