I went to Nehru Place last week with a friend. The prices have gone off the roof. Madarchods are selling 2nd gen intel laptop for 16k all because it has i7. Most of the sellers and shopkeepers are gawars and will scam you. Those who are technically knowledgeable don't deal in refurbished and 2nd hand goods. After 2 hours of roaming and 3 mini snack breaks and intense chai pe charcha. We finally found a somewhat good deal.
Latitude 5490 had all the ports but the plastic quality was very weak. T480 was out of stock or overpriced in many shops. Finally i found a tiny repair shop owned by bearded mulla ji on 2nd floor. He was selling L14 gen 2 i3-1115G4 for 17k. After some bargaining he sold it for 16k. Then i purchased a usb hub for 600 rupee. Basically 17k me sab ho gaya, 16k laptop + 600 usb hub + 400 snacks.
Coming to the point build quality of L14 is same T480, both uses magnesium. i3-1115G4 is dual core though but it's performance is same as i5-8350u in T480 and 5490. But gpu is better in L14.

I got an ideapad 15isk with i7 6500u, 16gb ram and r7 m360 gpu for 11k 3 years back, from a relative who has a family business of repairing old computers and TVs, they get old laptops in bulk straight from companies who discard them. The speaker and hdmi port doesn't work though, made a rant thread about hdmi few days back in /g/. Using it with bluetooth neckband since buying and it runs games released until 2014-16 quite well. Love playing mgsv on it
