you cannot learn these things from some kalej boomer who has never written a single line of actual code.
this author of that book is an actual engineer, his specilisation is compilers.
For any one who wants to check it out just search it online, it is available as PDF, i cannot upload it, says invalid file for some reason, basic knowledge of C/C++ and idea about assembly languages and system software in general - linking, executable file format across Operating systems etc is preferable.
I have learned more about programming and computers from certain streamers (Alexey kutepov, Casey Muratori etc) and books than from any paid kalej course online or offline.

I'm talking about self studying from serious sources and not pajeet boomers. There's good video lectures and assignments from ETH Zurich where I went for a research internship. Check it out.
