I recently played one, I used to play pokemon games a lot in my childhood, gba is the lifeline to play game of every gareeb anon back then who didn't had a good device.
someone had installed gba emulator in few of the school pc of the computer lab
it had dragon ball z, etc. we would try to reach the lab first to get these computers. of course we could just play it at home but it was more fun in the schools computer lab

I emulated GBA, N64, PS1, PS2, NES, SNES, Saturn, NDS and PSP and few others which I don't remember at the moment
I only play emulated games on my android as native android games died in 2017
I'm currently playing lumines on ppsspp on android
It's hella fun

Ya annon plz make a thread on general board where fellow annons can discuss and here stories ok spoken games and other games like legend of Zelda that they used to play on gba
>>368
I got to know what kekulation is through my nerd friends who were into this shit and they even helped me with modded APK files and roms at that time. I still remember that day when I installed MyBoy and got a LeafGreen rom running all on my own. Shit was like crack like I don't think I knew at that time I'll forever be chasing that high kek.
Looking back at it the few connections I had with other people really did shape me as a person like I can't imagine what I would've been if I didn't get to know or interact with them. Honestly fascinating how things work and did for you as well, or else you wouldn't be making this thread about such specific period in your life that other anons all over this country share as well.

Hey there was a thread on /vg/ about ppsspp, it's now migrated to /ent/ as /vg/ got nuked. I've made a post on that thread about lumines back then.
That thread is still alive, let's make it the thread for emulation discussion
>>>/ent/155#
>>384
Yeah anon it's so cool, all those nerds are just gone now from my real life idk where.
Now we can connect connect with /our/ folk
>>388
Kek I remember creating that thread I thought I'd get more discussion here about ROM hacks, PSP modding, homebrew, and exploring game libraries, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I was hoping to find people who enjoy talking about things like hidden gems, ROM hacks, modding projects, emulator setups
don't seem to be many emulator bhangis around
>>389
Kek that's so funny and depressing at the same time, it's just we two talking about emulation again after a month of no activity
We've 2 or 3 more anons ig
Everyone hop on to /ent/
This thread on /b/ will get buried inevitably in all the baits and shitposts
My fav one was Pokemon Gold playing on the GBC emulator. I wanted to play 3DS games but Citra was unstable back then. Good old times. I made a NES emulator in rust just for fun. Mappers are so hard to implement.

>Golden sun 1&2
Literally the best JRPG to ever exist, right next to Persona 3 and Dark Souls. GS3Dark Dawn was kinda forgettable tho unfortunately but maybe we'll see GS4 in our lifetimes if we got lucky.

I dont even know where most of the guys I used to talk to in HS are right now its almost as if they disappeared but I guess they could say the same about me as well kek

Tried CItra MMJ a while ago and while it rendered @good speed it couldn't get into boss battles properly
Probably because its obsolete now but the likes of Azagar need beefy CPUs like the latest Snapdragon
