I miss when I used to just go out alone from one cafe to another, spending money on coffee. Itd become a habit of sorts, any moment I was free Id rather sit in some spot I haven't checked out, it wasn't that great since I could never find anyone to do so with, but it was fun. It really helped me in my reading I suppose, and it racked up large bills however but that was fine, that's okay.
I miss it but I guess whatever im doing now is better. Ive been to so many starbucks, so many higher end cafes, and so many times it was strange for them to see me sit alone drinking my coffee.

On two occasions I'd gotten approached by people and asked if I got stood up on a date. The first time I ended up saying yes because the explanation of truth came harder. The second time I actually ended up sitting with the person and that was nice.
One time, I was preparing to go out alone, but my roommate figured out that Im going out and stuff and wanted to tag along, and it was a miserable experience, after which I realized going out alone is far better.

One of the more, interesting experiences in cafes was meeting my ex, who I had broken up with a few months back and meeting her in a cafe, and kind of crying because I couldn't really tell her that I just didnt see her romantically as such, but I did care a lot for her. I was crying or tearing up more accurately while we were having coffee, it was funny. What was funnier was that I was crying entirely on my way back and the cab driver who had seen me and her, mid route says "Oh, Bhaiya actually she could have sat with us her drop off isnt far by"

During this period? None I was just supported by my parents, but I got tired of college and a degree so I changed some things around, and right now I do have a job and I am earning mostly per service and it hasnt been that long since Ive started working, but overall in 6 months I've probably made 10 lakhs or so

Granted none of this would work without my fathers recommendations or connections but I like to think that by now I've made my own footing, and Im doing well. I dont earn on a salary but working with people I get opportunities and more importantly I get better perks than money at times, for money you have to wait

Nice anon, good to see people grow. I did lots of cafe hunting during college days as well. Are you out of India now? My dream was just to get out of India but it's looking bleek now.
