My parents would rather I stay a NEET and keep applying for jobs that are "respectable" than realize that it is better to get some money and routine going in my life by joining some small and simple job like working in a library or a xerox shop and then use that as a stepping stone to climb up. Every single time I try to reason with them, I get immediately shut down by them telling me that I'm just being bitter, I'm not trying hard enough, they have invested so much in my education (bank loans, also I even paid them back by working 1.5 years in a shithole any way). I just want to cry every day thinking about it but the tears won't come out. I would kill myself if I really hated my parents but I can't bring myself to.
