Just went through 100 pages of job postings in Indeed. I didn't click on even a single posting because not even one posting was application worthy.
Naukri, an Indian website, is a better developed website (despite it's problems) than Indeed, which is developed by Americans. Naukri will return results that are sorted properly and you won't see the same job repeating again and again. If you select sort by date, then it will really sort by date right to the second. Indeed meanwhile returns results that keep repeating over and over again creating the impression that there are more jobs than there already is. If you sort by date and specify last 7 days, it just vomits a huge pile of job postings per page and does not give a shit whether these job postings are sorted by freshness. I have no idea how this site even works. I only know that recruiters like to use Indeed because it's cheaper and you can post one free job ad there.
what are you applying for? what is your desired job? your expertise? your skillset?
>>71317 I have an useless mechanical engineering masters degree. I have 1.5 years of assistant professor experience. I am applying for administrative or back office related roles like office administration, documentation, coordination, data management, etc. I can create dashboards and handle large data, with occasional help from AI. I have no real skills.
>>71321 so you want desk jobs. cant help. but if you really want a "job" then go to manufacturing plants and ask them if they can hire you as a trainee. its pretty easy, with some tries you will get somewhere.
>>71311 Why dont you go for blue collar job? What happened to video editing job your relative had put out?
>>71336 i think, he doesnt want to do physical jobs.
Jainas don't do physical jobs. He's more likely to go to a mountain and starve to death.
>>71332 I'm not eligible for trainee positions. I had applied in the past. They will hire trainees only under NAPS scheme which is sponsored by the government and has specific age and passing out year conditions that I can't satisfy anymore. >>71336 They want me to know Adobe Premiere. I am thinking of learning the whole visual design route from Photoshop to Premiere to Aftereffects but it's going to take time. Also this is going to go extinct in a few years thanks to AI anyway.
>>71351 how many did you try? go offline and talk to them personally.
>>71359 5 to 6 may be. I stopped applying for core engineering jobs after 3 months of job searching. I'm done with mechanical engineering.
