Man, I fucking hate how much people dickride this guy. He only had one decent book, the Martian. Artemis was pure horseshit, it was literally the stereotypical horny redditor trying to imagine what it would be like as a woman, genuinely insufferable dialogue. Hail Mary, had no real "science", (what the fuck is solid xenon kek) just some beautiful sob story for retards to eat up. Also, the dialogue was reddit tier, you just know the guy spends hours on reddit. Only thing good, was the cinematography, in the movie.

When I was a kid, I was really into Isaac Asimov's stuff, The Foundation Series. It kinda fell off in the later books though; it became oddly pervy. If I remember right, that is.
