My reasoning is CJP is a bad pr, and it makes Sonam look bad. CJP has been responsible for some horrible takes, if not worst takes of the decade, asking for accelerated reservation for all thr bhimtas, (indiscriminately) supporting AIT (that too from Dahia, who himself is a jaat), asking for gender based reservation to top it off.
It looks even worse due to the digital presense and anti religious remarks, if it was a different scenario where CJP did not feel like an "archtype" that one would purposefully plant to make any rational idea seem like bad one in the future, then i would be glad Sonam was joining a party.
