Well same goes for liberals who think we are changing for the better or that we have changed a lot, we haven't. The more the things change the more they remain the same. It wasn't some paradise in past either. There was always a section of society in past too that was degenerate, rebellious etc. Prostitution is called the world's oldest profession for a reason. Alcoholism was quite common. There is a reason religions are so obsessed with adultery, because it used to happen. I dont believe in this idea that we are progressing as a species. I more so believe we are propelled by the conflict between yin yang (reactionaries vs radicals).

Thats what i mean. Its not some linear progression of humanity that liberals with main character syndrome seem to believe they are spearheading. Not so long ago communism, prohibition movement, eugenics were radical progressive ideas but now they are not. Once polytheism and its liberal attitudes were mainstream until bigoted intolerant monotheism took over in europe and now europe is back to liberal attitudes to religion. I see it more as crests and troughs of history. Sometimes we will pushed by radicals and sometimes we will be pulled back by reactionaries depending on which section is more dominant in the movement.

No such thing is happening pyare. The darkest times are behind us. Most of us here are privileged and live in a safe place where we don't have to worry about any natural calamity, starvation, plague, drought etc.
We just need to keep our randi women in control otherwise our civilization will be taken over by someone who have kept their women in check
