Are these our frens or foes?
I never really cared about soythies much before. But some of them are obsesses with us, they’re always running some psyops against us, even when we don’t even know they exist. They seethe in their own mudhuts no matter what.
They come up to our states for selling idli-dosa and watchman jobs, and we never force them to speak Hindi, Punjabi or Haryanvi. But they turn around and harass Bihari labourers. Not that I lose sleep over biharis, but it tells you everything about their mindset.
I had a few northie friends in the past. They were all chill.
I find myself unable to apply for many jobs because they specifically ask for hindi fluency because the job involves dealing with migrant labor probably. TFR has reduced to below 1.5. God damn anti-hindi imposition movements but it's somehow all fine if it's shop floor or warehouse workplaces.
Just like how abojeets are replacing Japan or Texas or Australia or whatever, north indians have also replaced southies. I know many places bring in people from the north and provide them with accommodation and raw materials for cooking their own food just so they can work here all day long. Some even reproduce and maintain families in construction sites. These people work like beasts I'd say, and local population would rather do food delivery or some other job than manual labor so they are pushed to this situation. I have a lot of respect for these people who abandon their homes as they have no other option but to and come here and do whatever they can to survive.
They also mostly mind their business but rarely rape and robbery issues happen that gets blown up and made into action thriller movies featuring messiah hero who protects vulnerable women from bimarus. Of course, they end up chewing tobacco, drinking and smoking a lot to cope with all this as well. It's yet another case of blaming the migrants when there is a bigger issue that creates such situation.
Except for Bangalore, Chennai, Vizag, Kochi and maybe Hyderabad and similar tier 1 cities I don't think you'd see educated and qualified people moving to the south. Some IT companies in the south are seriously xenophobic and nepotistic so it's difficult for them to sustain so they just move back. They'll struggle with adapting with food, culture, etc. but some do end up staying and even learning local language. One of my reporting bosses at a place that I worked before was a Solanki and he was very chill and spoke local language.
Just rambling.

I remember a guy who I studied with who got a job opportunity in Gujarat. He was told to tonsure his head and he was told that he is never supposed to eat meat when he lives there. He ended up losing maybe 10 kilos in 3 months. I don't know what happened to him after.
My dad once had the opportunity to go to Allahabad and he was struggling to find proper food that he could eat and it was all roti and dal.
Some northie states are pure hell.
