I come from North West India, and my 168cm height felt kinda short but okay cause some of my juniors towered at 180-185.
Since i have moved to East UP, I see the average height is just arounf 150-160, when I move in the crowd, most of them are shorter than me. Why is this so?

It’s true. In my college, tallest guys are usually either Rajasthani/haryanvi or Tamil/mallu. Tallest guy in my batch is a 6’4 dumeel. He looks ugly as fuck tho and is retarded to be fair.

it's usually due to nutrition. people on the east side of India are poorer and don't have access to proper food
On the other hand, comparatively more stable and higher income states like Punjab or Kerala have better access to good, healthy food for children that lets them grow taller

The further you go in any direction from North-West India (or Central Asia as Aryan epicenter), the more people you will find with short Dravidian features.
