Why are abos so bothered by people loving their steppe component. You see this on ancestry forums how abos and other high aasi folks criticise high steppe folks for loving their steppe component. Yeah i get sometimes it turns into cringy obsession with steppe but i often feel people who needlessly criticise those with high steppe are also projecting their own insecurities. For some steppe is a third of their ancestral heritage. Telling others that they should be ashamed of it or ignore it to further some idea of zagros/AASI superiority or idea of some vague southasian nationalism at the expense of their own genetic heritage just reeks of insecurity.
