dnf, got like 2/3 of the way through before i had to leave the theater cause i was so immensely bored.
the movie starts with a short and quick 36 minutes of exposition. the pacing is so rushed that it feels more like a shitty tiktok synopsis than a story you’re supposed to experience.
couldn’t help but feel like the intended purpose of every scene was to be epic and breathtaking which only highlighted how flat and unrealistic the characters were.
i understand it’s an adaptation of an ancient epic, but if you don’t have anything to add to the original text, why make it into a movie to begin with?
i can’t really find an aspect of this that i did enjoy. the hair. beautiful outfits. that’s about it.
I’m sorry, it’s my fault that I decided to watch this film. Half star only because Ravi Dubey is cute.
