I am from bihar but i would not say I am a proud bihari, infact i am thankful that i was not born there and have lived in gujarat from start.
most importantly I do not have that dehati bhojpuri accent, I speak pure hindi like my parents.

Pretty sure this is just something LCs do to people of other states to make themselves feel better. Similar to lower-class whites claiming the achievements of jews or anglo-saxons to dunk on south asians
