even with indian skill exchange program that took indians for 5 years this is how things worked :
1. most of the work islabor work which japan need
2. you have to work extra hard
3. there is no extension after 5 year
4. you are sent back after the date ends
5. you cant get work visa or switch to other company etc like that
the work was like : construction , farming , horticulture etc where you could learn stuff, save some yen money , and then come back and use that knowledge to better stuff here.
