Seeing other poopjeets in my batch getting placed in Infosys by cheating in OA rounds giving me FOMO. Should I just keep grinding leetcode for FAANG or hiring for juniors is absolutely dead and I should take any offer that I am eligible with?
Hiring is ded the only way u can get in by reference.
All of it is through internal hirings
If u have confidence about u being top 1% then go into deep preparation mode but if u think i r not then i suggest get into industry first you can pivot later to faang

I have roughly 1 year before I graduate. Only thing I'm scared of is if I keep grinding LC and end up not getting into FAANG. Because then I would be left off with nothing as I would be literally ignoring all my placements just for that.

fagman is dead for normal pajeetif yournot from tier 1 or whatever. campus placement is the only way new Grads can get into fagman(they have DEI programmes for women from everywhere tho). if you're trying ti switc into fagman, you'll require at least 6-7 years of exp. this is not 2022 anymore.

This is absolutely brutal man. What should I do even then. I'm from a newer IIIT with 9.5+ cgpa, and I don't think faang visits our campus. I was thinking of putting in effort for fagman, but it will just go in vain. Maybe should I enjoy 10lpa and be happy with pajeet services ltd. company.

at least ur CG is good. talk to ur seniors and check their emails as to which companies visited them and how many got selected. and plan your studies according to that. do not hesistate to cheat in OAs. prepare leetcode medium, system design if you're going for cs jaabs.
