Tesla and other big tech companies should just move to China or India. Its pretty clear now that coomskins have lost the Faustian spirit that allowed them to dominate the world. They unironically wanted this banned because Elon let mean speech on twitter.
The car itself is only allowed through invite only.
And it's also not road legal.
And frankly some anon said the truth what practical use does it have ?

Are you seriously asking what is the practical use of a vehicle that now has vertical and horizontal movement instead of moving on a fixed horizontal straight axis?
>b-but but muh laws
Irrelevant. Laws and standards gets changed all the time when we innovate the way we do things.

Anon, the tech used for that is space grade.
And the fuel for each refil will outpace the cost of car itself.
Even for super rich.
Did u see full demo of that ? I saw it.
And it can only handle short burst of sprint after that it's nothing different than regular car.its even being said that that one burst emptied that tank.

>And the fuel for each refil will outpace the cost of car itself
Did you miss the first part of the demo where it went up a vertical wall and propped itself upright? Such grip system used to only be available in experimental cars, Tesla is now making available in even their lower end models.
>its even being said that that one burst emptied that tank.
I guess it's mostly for escape situations and falls, for which its more than enough.

True
Also its about the joy of innovation
Like in maths the process of proving a theorem is what spawns multiple new fields. Its the process of moving from A->B that is important not B itself. Maybe the grip technology will transfer to other fields in the future, maybe the compressed air technology gets even more high tech. So many possibilities

Yeah and all this crab mentality about 'but muh legality saar muh practicality saar' is a sign of a civilisation is in decline.
Reminds me of how Balmer dismissed the iPhone because he thought it was a gimmick and wouldn't impress business users. And he was right, original iPhone was and is mostly a gimmick with a capacitive interface that largely didn't change how we used our phones. It was not until 3 or 4 when it became a serious new mode of computing.
