Id wanted to do this for a while now, some sort of a community led thing rather than just automation. I like the automated Radio and News, I love those things but this has much more vibrancy.
I can't expect users to realistically move to a dead board nor do I want to compete with Indiachan or be a board owner, those are headaches. But I've always loved the idea of community led activity, in strange ways.
If you'd like to know some other potential ideas about IAC I have.

I will always cherish Indiachan for the simple fact that this is the last place on web left where I can breathe. It sucks, its horrible and I've basically become entirely a different person and regular inchis would hate me, but it's still non-algorithmic and real.
Ive been spending time on instagram, talking to irls and so on, and its nice but, I dont like reels and nor do I like the idea of needing the excuse of short form video addiction to strike up a conversation.
Indiachan is in some sense better than 4chan, it's culturally different. Its very unique and one of a kind. My dream has always been to take this amazing community experience and remove the mega cancer tumors from it, and Ive failed, ofcourse, because its impossible to reform the idea without cancer.
But I get close to it, with IAC, I get closer and closer to a sort of Internet space that is personable and community driven, sure I cant host conversations there but I have better and more zany ideas to test out.

Basically I've been unable to get Zen's attention about cloudfare and so East of indus and the radios news segments will be broken. They're not that amazing, Ive been told many times that Inch mail and other more hands on projects have been better than East of Indus or Radio, and I get it, I made those because I too wanted to enjoy them.
Maybe potentially I get rid of them and make something that can work on its own. But I cannot depend on the good will of users because there isnt any, what users want from iac is something entirely different that is fun, you dont want to read 30 page long conversations about spirituality, you want to fuck shit up, you want to draw on walls and piss on the floor, and I respect that and this is my attempt at keeping the IAC project still relevant enough.
I dont know if Ive even thought this through because I havent, I work on this, in limited time, and then I pray to god it doesnt break and when it does I fix it or do this.

Potentially the idea that really is making me curious is the idea of a running "town"
Sort of like Clash of Clans but no islands, just one town, and a constant multiplayer system that requires you to do things, and gives you something, a video game essentially. The scope of this is so retarded because we're operating still on a Blogger site.
A town, with limited houses or apartments or so, I guess your actual house will be just a "you" visible thing so as to not make the map entirely full with 5-6 players, and what I imagine or what I want is some reason and some genuine intrigue in players to want to open it up and play on it, preferably limited to a few decisions per day, so not long tedious gameplay but something you keep coming back to.
What will be the elements of play? Well fucking other people over, so something like a monopoly+catan+City builder (?) but on a long play on iac site. And with real potential to fuck people over. And ofcourse some kind of a, mailing system for the game itself, I guess not that it sends you mail to your email but your account gets mail and that's kind of your update of what ever player has done.
Player based revenge and fuckery game. Catan.

Userbase dedication is also an issue. I need to genuinely think as to what kind of a game (long play) an Inchiya would love. All I can think of beyond dressing it up in inch clothing (which is just theme) is the idea of maintaining some sort of a digital "space" with namefags and that becomes a sort of secondary space of the board.
For example, the idea here is not to replace inch but to make the current dynamics, and leverage that into a game, we already have a "community" that has its own culture however it might be, and with that, wouldnt it be fun to basically create a space where you can almost view inch not just as a site but as a place, a town, with people, and with things to do and with fun to be had
