As a handoo this typa shit always makes me question handuism and rethink if I'd really want to associate with this religion.
Also a funny anecdote, my mom is a science teacher and she was my science teacher in 8th grade. The state government textbook had some paragraph on panchgavya and it's "benefits" and my mom explained it enthusiastically while adding more info for about 15mins, I was disgusted. The first thing I asked my mom after getting back home is did she seriously believe that it's beneficial and then, I still remember it vividly, she looked at me dead in the eye and said "Yes".
I laughed at her, she still thinks this way.
Also when I was in 11th grade, she bought undiluted pure concentrated cow urine straight from the source from a goshala and sprinkled it all over the house, it stank like hell. I was about to puke, everyone except mom was repulsed, dad was about to lash out but kept his mouth shut cuz muh "religion."
It stank for 3 full days, after that it slowly faded away even after emptying half a bottle of a room freshner. The droplets had fallen on my computer monitor which was a few months old and the strong acidic urine just went through the lcd membrane and dissolved a few layers ig. There are dull white patches on its screen, through which the backlight bleeds directly, since then. The display got fucked within months of purchasing it.
