Kafka's Metamorphosis hits hard when unemployed. I've been treated like trash by people in general but what's worse is I have been told so many things that no parent should say to their children in the past year. I got told I'm lazy, that I don't want to work, that I'm some sort of an addict, that I'm cursed by my ancestors, that gods are punishing me for not paying respects to them, that I am making my parents suffer, etc. etc.
