Do cold climates produce higher IQ and more disciplined people?
Is it true that throughout history northerners have conquered southerners far more? Sure, vice versa has also occurred like maratha empire, arab conquests etc. But isn't there a pattern of northerners doing it far more. Mongols came from north, mughals came from north, european colonialism came from north. Japan conquered china not the other way round. Qing empire was established by manchus from north. It was roman empire that conquered mediterranean not egypt or mesopotamia. Germanic invaders from north, vikings were from north. In fact largest native subcontinental empires mauryan and gupta were based in north.

they were eastern indian empires, nothing to do with north, majority was east india is still pretty hot and humid
>produce higher IQ and more disciplined people
im not sure about the IQ part, but the discipline part is only true due to the fact that they lived in the steppe, which had a very harsh and cruel climate and living conditions, which led to them generally migrating and fights with other tribes

Its still in very northernly latitude. They werent from odisha or andhra. Yeah i know they had advantages like huge iron ore deposits and agriculture that fuelled the expansion but the trend is northerners conquering southerners.

Not really, I would argue temperate, balanced climates with strong 4 seasons (very hot summers, very cold winters) are much better for producing a stable civilization compared to just extreme cold. See how the colder parts of the world (Siberians, Inuits in Alaska/Canada, Sami in Scandinavia, Tehuelche in Patagonia) fared, most were conquered by the temperate powers

Tokyo is south of Beijing and Seoul, and much of northern China
