Its always amazing to pick him up and kiss him and he hates being picked up but you know he kinda likes it cuz he always comes back to our house, actually thats the wrong way to put it because this is his home and he just has free roaming permission. I can see his personality and I can almost imagine how he would speak. I often wonder if he’s incarnate as a spirit or a past ancestor or whosoever to keep a check on us. Because sometimes he perches on our gate walls which are about 13 feet or so high, covered with trees and watches the gate, he’s done this more than the other cat and actively does it, like a protective spirit
