Recently went to a guy who is a top level engineer in a government run company and he told me that there's no jobs for mechanical engineers and they care more about civil and electrical. He also said there are no full time jobs anymore and everything is just contract so I should just take it and tried to gaslight me for an hour. Maybe he speaks the truth because I think in that whole building maybe 10% of the employees were actually full time and everything else had been outsourced to facility management baniyas.
I think more about running away from home or suicide than job searching these days.
