5 months ago I was toying with Tulpas, and I kind of wanted one, but I didnt want an uncontrollable voice, eventually it tied into the idea of a "dual consciousness" and polyphony (two thoughts heard at once)
I started training my brain in polyphony, and eventually i began with meditation on the senses and the feeling of I.
I cannot describe exactly to you, what the split feels like, but once you do, it's just, natural, it can be shut off, there's no dominant consciousness, and I experience both at the same time.
It's not two voices talking to each other, it's two sense awareness, you can already stimulate two people, three, as many as you want, but you cant experience watching two peoples brain at once.
Will write more about the experience here.

For example, on the metro, for the first time it kicked in properly. I had been visualizing "watching" two brains, watching my own self talk, feeling my "self" and being, and also adding another, it wasnt working. But eventually, with some fatigue on the Metro I sat down and, I just got it.
I have full control over both of me, It's more like, a claude agent, and with polyphony, I can hear both talking at once, and they're both just me, they'll change the topic or shut up if I want to.

Make a thread in general. I've been pondering about tulpamancy from the past few months but the only thing holding me back is the fear that I'll be mentally drained and waste time. Does it interfere with other activities? Is it like having a companion anon?
>>196699
>>196700
Its not at all like a companion. It's like, sit down and just watch your thoughts, it's like, theres two of that, not two thoughts although I can run that, but it's like two feeling thinking machines.
>>196703
What's the advantage of having a tulpa then if you already have an inner monologue? I just wanted an imaginary waifu :(
>>196704
Ohh, so this just helps you look at things with a different perspective?
>>196706
No, a perspective would imply a change of mind. Im saying there's literally two of me inside, It's not a perspective.
>>196706
Tulpas are boring, they're not that useful unless you make one thats useful.
Im using two of my consciousness right now and I can let them talk to each other, and they talk to their own thoughts, and then those thoughts talk to each other. I can control it, somewhat, it's like a switch, but I always, always wake up dual in the morning, Ive never not woken up as such.
Nice, tulpas have always been an interest of mine. The idea of having a "parallel processor" is something which always fascinated me. Can you solve problems in much less time by segmenting it and having both halves work on solving the individual segments? When both halves do solve the segments, how is the information coalesced to work on the big picture? Does the information transfer to A or to B?
>>196722
I naturally find myself dividing when I want to focus on a problem, not sure if its faster but it's better at catching errors, it's like two best friends (or lousy fags) talking to each other.
>>196726
Fascinating. Have you tried to go from 2 to n? or you gonna remain with one tulpa? I've heard some people have like 7.
>>196725
>focusing on a problem
Do both identities solve the problem from start to finish and cross reference? That would make sense as it points errors out better.
>>196722
I can, or they can talk to each other, but its not like imagining two people talking, although that is a good exercise that I used to do before I had it. Its inherently just a different conscious experience, so my words fall flat somewhat
>>196730
Awareness is 1, consciousness is 2. If you sit calmly you'll notice thoughts come to you, and you respond to them, theres a back and forth, but the observer is one, what I feel is, two guys doing back and forths, two places, different in the moment, but seen by "me"

Im afraid of running 3 virtual machines on my brain. Currently 2 dont hurt, its never tired me out, but I dont wanna like overclock my brain, and also I dont know how to get to three
>>196733
>I dont know how to get to three
Easy for me to say, but can't be that hard, just ask tulpa 1, to branch into tulpa 1 and tulpa 3. So you have 3 tulpas totally. Although I wonder if having 3 direct (If that's the right word) tulpas is the same as having 2 tulpas, with one having a nested tulpa.
>>196741
Imagine a dude in your mind, he's really into nirvana. He's being run on your main machine, but what I feel is something distinctly new when A and B are talking to each other, its like talking to a real person, but I also know and control both

I knew a schizo who literally had a linux file system in his head. He would literally run linux commands in his head and shit. He's in manipal now, I wonder if he's here kek.
>>196747
Yo, AK if by some chance you're here send me a dm. We haven't talked in years.
>>196733
Is it permanent? I've heard of some people killing or freezing tulpas.
