His whole argument is basically that because of tech you need a more complex soyciety and need reliance on other people which reduces independence and therefore freedom. Don't care tbh. We have much better things to worry about.

I think he's right about the alienating aspect of technology, however I think he's also undermining the anarchist potential in it. Currently a lot of limitations of technology that enables us to be truly independent and become the predator esque rugged hunter gatherer he wished humans were are placed by artificially placed tail gates to protect the stability of the system.
