Nope. Excluding sapinda(cousins upto 7 degrees) already wards off any inbreeding. Also gotra doesnt track matrilineality. You will end up circling back and breeding with someone of the same gotra as ancestor of your 3rd last generation because gotra does not go beyond your grandparents. Gotra system deliberately excludes matrilineal lines causing the circling back to same gotra after 3 generations, if not endogamous castes would not have been possible.

Anthropologically, clan exogamy has always been about cohesion and alliances not genetics. Mongols too practiced clan and village exogamy.
