I kinda hate the word intellectual because it's so widely encompassing that it's useless as a word. Artsy is funny but its more accurate.
My parents were always like this and I grew up with art and music, and literature too I guess but I read different things.
In a sense I was always like this, my parents never tried to steer me in any direction per say and I think I basically just grew into myself on my own.

Although I have genuinely no musical talent, never even tried to produce any. I am actually trained in fine arts more so, a lot of self training, then some institutional training as well yes, but I already had enough guidance to approach it properly on my own. I can't list out favourite authors, because what I read isnt relevant to the work or what i do, I mean some of it is, yes but, its a lot of hodgepodge.
Favourite artists would be, Salman Toor, John singer sargent, Alexander Rostov, Dean Cornwell, these guys for their, visual skill and representation, these arent world renowned niche, If I wanted to show off Id say Mark rothko or something, not Basquit. Bob Peaks art I really like, it's not high grade conceptual work but its just nice. There's a lot here, that im not listing that are just out of my mind.
In music? since most of the times people mean fav artists for musicians, I love Beirut (the band) and Pisse (German punk band) I love Habibi funk, Hamid al shaeri and all that, Roger Fakhr ofcourse. I love UK Rap, Fakemink, feng, Rico-ace. I love Catholic and early american choir and prayer music, the classics like Agnus Dei or Babylon has fallen. I listen to a lot of choir or like prayer music, buddhist prayer music too yes, and islamic Dhikhr music, and Amazigh music too, like modern Amazigh rock music.
I've been listening to a lot of death in june while working on my speakers, its different when u listen to sad shit on a speaker while working.
