Personally I am not an active casteist.
The Modern Indian left is richer, slightly more female ratio, and it borrows and adapts and creates from aesthetics that are pleasing to its western sensibilities, there are original creatives here sure.
I’ve noticed that, the modern left has some actually smart alecks who’ll point out how deeply rooted caste is in everything, I saw a reel of a guy saying, basically, that caste and coolness in India is heavily related, the privileged caste in India will swiftly move away from aesthetics that the masses of the lower class and caste are enjoying.
Slowly trends become cliche, cringe, and a new category of entirely “chapri” trends are born.
But the problem is that the left wants to adopt globalism (whilst maintaining a civil image of our traditional culture towards modern political sensibilities) but ALSO the problem is that the culture we are trying to escape from, the aesthetics, the bright cylindrical tubelights, the government teal walls, are all aesthetics of the masses.
Inherently aesthetics, the way they work in India, are dependent on access, and we just cannot stomach the lower wing of India gaining (and reappropriating) access to these aesthetics.

You notice this in media. Theres a woman who makes this “Educated Bahu stuck in the wrong family” reels and the premise is essentially modern sensibilities meeting the contrast and retardation of village like, upper caste families.
We penalise (rightfully) the dehati upper classes because they are safe to penalise, they’re misogynistic, casteists, but we treat the lower classes as if they’re immune from the problems that class and caste create.
Basically, to simply put, the more dehati and poor you are, the more misogynistic and backwards you are likely to be, we want to protect and safeguard the lower castes whilst we ignore the fact that much of what the left wants to remove actively is the language of the lower classes (UC or LC)

What is the solution? I think the only real solution is an abolition of class above all else. Caste is secondary to class in terms of the mass effect. But neither class nor caste will ever be dismantled.
You know what can happen? I suspect that there will be, from western influences, a group of new leftists who are basically fascists but mix their value with western ideologies.
You will understand immediately if you’ve noticed that, Indian right wingers have a very tough time, aesthetically, the truth is most of the core values the new online Indian right wing (basically kids who grew up on the net, not real sanghi bjp supporters) a problem these people have is that they want to be nazis.
They wanna be Nazis, or something similar, but they cant, they try to larp ancient India and Aryans but they cant, some try to larp non-aryan, that also fails, no position from the Western flavour of Indian right wing is effective, khapitar and all these other twitter edit posters essentially copy formats of western fashy edits and try to put in their own ideologically favourable flavour of ancient India (aryan if they personally feel they are entitled to larp as one) (mauryan or buddhist if they dont) (and new India, nehru, although rare)
My thesis, is that the new left wingers, who are entirely divorced from traditional chains, will create a small sect of fascist-like imagery and media, that will be a whole different kang (like a fascist Nehru kang)

Particularly, the Kasperia nehru edits posted on Mythokasperia ARE EXACTLY THIS. Kasperia taken away from the authors original context, and looked at through the lens of the edits, is very western but Indian, but also not an ancient India aryan larp, but also not a leftie liberal edit either. It’s something else entirely.
Kasperia btw if studied closely is VERY left leaning, purposely, I’ve read the letters and art the author has made, deliberate concern was put to present it not just as Aryavarta modern larp.
