For some reason I spend way more time reading lore, manuals, and random shit on the Internet Archive about RPGs, or reading about compute stuff and how it was made than I actually spend playing them.
Actually playing and grinding can be a real pain in the ass sometimes kek.
If you're wondering what kind of RPGs I'm playing rn, I do play modern RPGs with mods. With older RPGs, I mostly enjoy researching the lore, manuals, mechanics, random obscure bullshit, etc. Tho I've played some of the famous JRPG/CRPG titles too Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Persona, Chrono Trigger, Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Torment, and stuff like that.
I even tried playing completely archaic stuff like Alkabeth and very quickly realized that yeah... this ain't my cup of tea lmao.

Problem with RPG is you have to grind a lot especially with old rpgs where difficulty lvls can spike exponentially.
You can't clear without save scumming.

I think it depends, but the later few do become exceptionally hard. There are farming regions or levels in majority of games that allow some form of easy farming.
