There is no need to segregate sc sts, without the state pampering them they will be back to their ancestral work in no time. Muslims other than few of castes of them are similar to sc sts. It's the high castes muslims with influence who are real problem, and focus should be on making them irrelevant.
Hypothetically if there is equal law in india for all, then the things would get much better.

How can you uplift anyone? You can give people a level playing field but some will always end up at the bottom. Its a zero sum game. Has always been this way. Reservations are just free lunch not equality of opportunity.
