had some disturbing dreams after listing to subliminals for like 2-3days. I have a bad stomach pain, but this may be unrelated. I had this dream where I had to play a board game with this guy, and then I lost so my legs were removed and my eyes were stitched together so that I
Was blind and even my mouth was stitches shut. He also carved a hole in my cheeck and I was able to stick my tongue out of my cheeck the hole was bloody and wet, I then tried to kill myself by choking and then woke up.

Context: I've been talking to a friend, and inadvertently my past self in a sense. I've grown so past doomerism that its, almost weird for me to imagine believing its over for me or that I cant do someting

A very easy way to ruin your life is to reminisce over the past, continuously define yourself with your mistakes and misfortunes, refusing to believe anything good for you.
It almost frustrates me, so much. A friend of mine is like this, entirely depressive. I cant shake him out of it. I find it, almost ick like whenever people are ready to give up and just writhe in their misery forever.

Theres so much to be upset about in the past, and there's so much to be worried about in the future. Nihilists and doomers think they're smart and logical but it is classically their logic and reasoning that blinds them.
It's so funny, I mean eventually we all realize this as we grow out of doomerism, our logics are flawed and our reasoning often tells us to basically kill ourselves and its over.

I dont like seeing him like this but nothing I say will affect him, Ive been there, it's like a personal fight. Although everyone needs to be told that life can be amazing, that you can start moving, and even though the path ahead looks dry and unforgiving, you just need to move a few more steps, you need to move just a few steps, the clarity of position is IMMENSE. I could write a book about Fog of war in life

Fog of War in life. Fog of war is what it says, it's the unknown in the battlefield, as you slowly march the fog clears up, and slowly you get more agency on decision making. Jordan Peterson (Before he went crazy) had a lecture I really liked, it was about the old christian figures, being stranded in deserts so as to speak, I think it were the chosen people who, after escaping tyranny were stranded in a desert.
The idea being, that some people live their lives under tyranny, under clear problems, but once they solve the big issues, they have to deal with what most of us deal with which is the desert. You're stranded, you have no idea what you're doing, but you know you need to move, time is of the essence, but what to do? Where to go? so many directions? The answer is ofcourse just move, even if wrong, that is information that clears up some of the Fog, that allows you to act better. Action creates information. This is horrible news for people who want to plan their lives out, who want a path to success, essentially there's no path to success, clearly, there's only movement, and catching fishes and game on luck, yes luck, faith and all of it plays a heavy role in life, bad hands are dealt sometimes, but any amount of progress is only going to be made by clearing up the fog of war.
This would mean doing the thing you want to do, moving in it, and most people want the target now, we want the kill now, and that sounds logical and all, and just "keep moving bro" sounds awful, but that's exactly the thing that keeps and kept me personally in a daze for years.

I see now, why people in the past wrote so much about God and Faith, I understand some elements of Christian mysticism.
To be honest I live like that now I think. Everyday I wake up and I know that I chose to give up reasoning, and logics, to keep faith instead, I, some time ago, realized that all my "smarts" and logics that I prided myself over essentially lead me to holes and problems, so one day I decided to let go of logical reasoning, planning, and ofcourse I dont mean that I started flinging shit into police stations or something I still kept my process, (Let all in Caesers world belong to him) and I've been happier, prosperous and more spiritually strong ever since. Keeping Faith in myself.

Funny thing is that this approach has lent me to grow up in a sense, move on from the past, move on from mistakes, move on from shaming myself, move on from doubt.
I've always had a suspicion that life, and all important things in life are essentially all hidden in things that are counter intuitive, because think about it, most of us can reason, understand things, but then why aren't we all doing amazing? Clearly the common sense lacks something, and sometimes to move higher you need to learn and employ counter intuitive measures, in many fields.
