One critique I get for Kasperia from, im sure well meaning outstanding citizens, is that “its not original!”. I find it so interesting, I don’t know once I saw something like it, but the problem is, nothing is original words, colors, ideas and concepts, stories and everything is all just combinations of things. Im not defending Kasp here, kasperia is something I came up with to pass time, but it is something that has sustained creative accumulation you can sit and think about, lemuria or something (for some reason the abbo/aryan conflict applies to kasperia, which is why I try my best to make kasperia more interesting by making it not generic toned)
Something like Lemuria or Aryavarta are just, shitposts and larps you post, these arent things that you, you personally have created for depth. Depth and accumulation in creative concepts takes time and sustained interest, Kasperia suprisingly has gone through it, whether I care for it or not

I mean it doesnt matter. The potential of Kasperia is ruined by my decision to associate it with inch. It’s artistically dishonest to myself that I keep posting about kasperia here in some sense, not dishonest but it is a waste of time, I realize this now because with some deliberate thought I’ve chosen to apply the full breadth of my skill to real world creative projects, doing so has already made me money. But i mean, theres still a nice side to it, Kasperia is now a, very interestingly developed idea.
I rarely want to talk about it like this, this is cheap, its better to make shit to show you kasperia, hence why the letters and somewhat the mailclub etc, the monorail cards and in bharatchan I was almost daily posting the kasperia city weather stuff, that shit was cool, but back to the point.
It’s essentially like, taking history and mashing it through, this is the process disco elysium also applies, mixing things creating new methods and new “rituals” and formats. Kasperia has three religions, all three are somewhat mixture and extremity and some more changes to Buddhism, Islam and Hinduism, people hated it ofcourse when I elaborated on it in the letter because they did, maybe for a valid reason? Maybe this is all faggotry and, we should RETVRN to posting about jatts and brahmins and abbos all day.
It’s alt history done in a non obvious way, it’s not “what if no british” or any of the various caste and Aryan larps. Infact I’d grown so tired and weary of the state of religion in India that I imagined what would happen if the religious backdrop was entirely different and I’d be a cheap hack if I didnt introduce problems into kasperia, there needs to be problems, humanity is as such.
New Lhasa is interesting because New Lhasa was created before kasperia, I was always interested in buddhism and through design and shit I created some things, eventually ideas began to pop into my mind, Tall sky scrapers like that in Hong Kong or New York but In Tibetan mountainscapes, essentially like Bioshock but if rapture was in mountains.
I didnt realize it at the time but I was working within the idea of creating a city and area that is entirely encapsulated in either art deco esque architecture, speciality rail transport and hotels and casinos or harsh white blinding mountains, the idea was, what you feel during airports and hotels, concourse, it’s kind of like a portal into a world alien where nothing natural or grass or just basic town/village exists, it’s the idea cyber punk pulls from, but I dont like cyberpunk.

New Lhasa then is inspired by Airports and Air Travel in the jet age, but as if the whole city is an airport. Its an all encompassing field, it always feels alien, theres always mostly a roof on your head or concrete or stainless steel or wood near you, it lulls you into imagining a planet covered with transport hubs and stations and metros and mono rail lines and Sub weiffers.
I did not realize that this was the idea I was trying to grasp at with New Lhasa. Infact theres a small broken text based game I created for New Lhasa too (with images).
I’ve been thinking about the sustained creative effort. Do you realize that Kasperia has been going on Since before bharatchan, then indus, then this chan, almost all works within the BPA (Bharatchan Public Abstract) and IAC (Indian Abstract Culture) have been, deliberately or not, within Kasperia, the IAC radio, news site, the christmas magazine the map cartoon the letters and Inch mail ofcourse.
And it’s, a genuinely nice amount of work, with its own compromises and realities of deliverance, deadlines self imposed and an audience (you) but it’s all been, in vain?
I think so, it’s sad to say this but it has been, because what has been the point if posting Kasperia or iac site gets mostly bad actors and detractors, I feel a tinge of happiness seeing people (mythokasperias twitter for example anon who runs it) post things I’ve made, but at some point I have to come to grips with my own future endeavours and process, and I dont know what the hell I’ve been fucking doing?!
Ever since I moved to London I’ve been hit with this budding realisation that India is, very lonely for most people, for me it was, London isnt as much, i mean theres other issues, but its more connected, and I’ve been realizing that maybe this lack of a satiating community is what caused me to make stuff here, which, I dont mind. Ive shown the work to real authority figures who I trust and who I had to embarrassingly explain what Indiachan is and I think I secured a higher position of pay literally due to these works, the woman I work for was more impressed by this shit than my actual work because she liked that it was already in some sense a long series of audience tested work. But yet, she too asked me to not make anonymous work anymore

How did you learn to write, draw and create thing so well? I’ve seen atleast 4-5 mediums of art from you. Also yes you should immediately gtfo of indiachan. I’ve been following your work for a long while, and I genuinely think you’re better off not coming here arguing with niggas.

Never noticed this but ur right I aint seen many people with that level of control over so many art forms. I think its probably something like from bachpana, that you learn some critical skills. Which I assume also affects iq.
