I think reincarnation is just cope to deal with your own mortality and justify oppressing LCs saying that they did bad karma in their past lives.

no and no, consciousness is just an illusion, you dont make any decision, YOU are the final module of the brain that arises from rest of the brain functioning which you cant even affect, and you rationalise and feels like you did anything, consciousness isnt even real, there is no consistent entity being transferred even if you got reincarnated, your behavior and emotions would entirely depend on how your brain is structured

one more example i have personally witnessed several years back.
neighbour auntie who lived above my house died early, like 35 yo early. when she died the next day a frog came by waiting outside their house. wasn't even rainy season her kids helped it move in the parking. the next day it was again waiting outside their house.this happened everyday for a week or so and then it stopped.

it needs to be processed in a certain manner yaar, you need a complex feedback loop like our brain has, and multiple layers of processing that act independently and share data after that
AI doesnt have that feedback loop and besides that the hardware theyre being hosted on doesnt mimic how the brain processes information, chips process info sequentially unlike parallely in our brain, and then also needs an agent that can actually interact with the world, basically just taking input and output from the real world by itself

this proves that you only exist if all parts of your brain can access the same information, once the information bifurcated you could see them act independently, there are probably more such illusions operating inside your brain but dont control any method of output so we cant detect them

you could feel what it would be like to be someone else only if you were literally their brain, heres the thing, you is not unique, the feeling of awareness is the same in all, people only act and feel different because of structure of their brain and memories, if one could plug your brain like a hard drive and format it and dump my entire brain's volumes into your brain then that would essentially just create another toranon, but i wouldnt feel like it because i dont exist, that information being processed is separate, that brain would have a similar illusion but it would be processing different sensory input, and not share it with my original brain, hence i remain unique and cant be you, unless both of our brains were connected and processed all information together

if we both could connect our brains like that as if it were a single one, the entity created would swear on its life that it is literally both of us at the same time, but because it is processing all information from both our brains together the illusion arising is the only 1 actually, this is exactly why you feel you are the same you that you were a second ago even tho new information has physically changed the structure of your brain, you only exists continually because the information is collected tick by tick and processed together, the illusion just grows bigger
