There can't be a god of time. Suppose u were the god of time. You could fast-forward billion years of existence in mere seconds. But it do be still seconds; it do be time. You can experience whatever u still be doing; it time.
Say u were the god of time. From ur experience, say I make a tape of all ur visual sensual experiences. Then what runs for you in the tape is, say, a million years of what u wanted to see in ur frame. In the million years of tape, you could fast-forward trillion years, slow 1 second to 1000 years, but ur experiences are still bound by time. In ur million years of existence, u see googol years, but the million years u did experience, u can't change / alter time, of course they are by ur will.
U imagine this tape as a hot steel rod. Hot portions are where u fast-forwarded time, so a lot of time is fitted compactly; density of time is high, and cold portions where u slowed the time. The million years of ur experience would be a combination of these hot and cold density regions, but the rod would still be a million years. Ur experience is still a million years u have to spend and can't avoid.
See, still time u can't control.
There is no god of time.
A god who can truly time won't be a god who actually controls time, but a god who controls relativity of time. Like, he would live through every second; he can't move time forward or backward, but he can change what it feels to him.
Even u change relativity to time every day. When told to spend 2 hours of lecture, you can scroll for the time, and when the lecture ends, you're thinking, how didn't the time go so fast? When ur engaged in smthn, same time feels relatively fast, whereas for the same 2 hours, you can hyper-focus and it feels like never-ending. In a way, you can control time more than a person who can back or forward the time, but you're limited in the ability.
This relativity thing is kinda synonymous to the actual time relativity. Like, when you are actually engaged, actually in deep thinking about smthn, drawing smthn with pure devotion, the time around you goes much faster, same as when we go faster and faster, time outside our surroundings does much faster.
When we go faster and faster by physics, your body will contract in size to outside viewer; same happens when u are hyper-fixated, concentrated, ur consciousness, ur mind is limiting its view to the very one thing ur doing.
Thinking and being fixated on a task is the universal analog of speeding up.
When u do, ur time contracts, like time is relatively faster to outsiders; the length of ur space shuttle decreases at high speeds, same as ur field of view of consciousness decreases to a specific thing when we are dedicated.
A true god of time won't back and forth time, but change its relativity to us. We are partially there as humans too.

Relativity is smthn u already control to a extent as a human. What we have done to do it is externalise it
Sometimes u scroll, sometimes u draw a art and become hyper focused which makes time feel go faster relatively
When u focus on a lecture with all hr scenes in that only that time frame feels more than it is
Not just humans so many organisms subconsciously do this, even concisouly u can pull this off but in humans you need a external stimulus or smthn not internalised to do this. Like a paradoxical thought u ponder over or ur insta shorts feed
Total relativity control is possible either by a contraption humans build to to put them in a numericallly defined focus on smthn. Techniclaly when u sleep or are un conscious time goes infinitely fast from ur perspective
A god would either be a human with that machine which is theoretically possible or a person who doesn't need anyhting external and has internalised this. He can go in focus mode or be engaged without there be anyhting to engage or focus on. He doesn't need anyhting outside or any thought do this. Both are possible, latter a bit less
