Yaar i started watching this show last week. As i just wanted a light hearted kids cartoon to laugh. I knew about ninja turtles but i had no idea what there story is what villains they had. And holy fuck this show blew me away. Yaar ninja turtle is kino shit. It doesnt feel like standard dc/marvel show. It has so many layers to it. And villains are so great

2000s cartoon were edgy as shit. Even teen titans looks like cartoon made for toddlers than you had slade mentally torturing kid like robin and grooming terra another kid girl. Yeah tmnt 03 was good as shit only till season 5. 6 and 7 were toned down because it became too edgy. Batman the animated series also had noir aesthetic it made freeze a tragic character trying to save his wife. Introduced harley quinn.
