Why people throw / are ok with garbage. Very complex. Lets break it down.

Combining the old habits , exponentially increasing consumption , a distracted government and a large 140 crore population , handling waste is impossible.
The situation will take years of regulations and efforts. But slowly the generation will become smarter , the waste management will catch up and we will be clean AGAIN

I think it's not in jeets upbringing. Now a days ppl are focusing on waste management but all the boomer won't learn and so do their kids.
The other aspects mightbe that as lot of ppl in lundia are poor this never occur to them as their priorities are different.

I think india should be the recycle capital of the world. If we can recycle it to the level of iss we would have near perpetual supplies of any and all material. We can wholeheartedly become isolated like the mediaeval Japan.(Isolated as in economics wise if any international pandemic or terror attack or financial crash we will be safe)
