moving forward here are few of my predictions
1. personal computing as in owning specialised hardware will largely become a thing of past, most people will own "terminals" (not necessarily smartphones) connected to AI cloud.
2. user software will mostly become obsolete, your presentation, documents, etc will be generated by AI directly without needing any office tools.
3. in next few decades when last crop of senior developers retire there will be a crisis unless the models become literally sentient.
