Greetings Indiachan, I'm still in the process of moving, a half lie, since I have technically moved, I've just been struck sick that I cannot do anything about my personal affects.
About the Mail Club.
I've been receiving the bulk of the requests on my public email, there's a lot more of you that seem to want to sign up, but I'm not sure how many of these requests will solidify, last run we had about 3 recipients, we'll see how many we get this run.
But yes, unfortunately due to my delays and many other factors there's a pause, as soon as I am acclimated and ready to work, I'll pass over the designs to the anon who I'm working with to print and deliver these.
Besides that, this thread will be ramblings. Since my sore throat developed into a fever last night, and I'm still down with something.

This one isn't mine (the one in the thumbnail) I dont use ai for anything drawn or any designs, it's all done in photoshop and fresco, if i do use ai its to quickly change text on an image or something, but that's mostly just to fasten the process.
I hate using ai for the main art, and it'll take the fun away if I did

For example the Jaggu in the last mail, was digitally drawn, then printed, but I drew many iterations and styles of it, but I landed on this one, as it was the best at the time for the deadline

The first pass was actually this, I was trying for a more regular cartoon, but it just wasn't coming out right, and I didnt want to just make something that sub-par (atleast till my control) so I took this drawings skeleton and made a new one >>141727
Similarly for dobhal, there were two variations in color, and I made a mistake here, I knew that the print would be risky because I specifically wanted a comic book effect, but making it too textured ruined the lines, but making it too small would mean the printer would darken it, and again, I didnt even print these out, so, more risk. But it was around midnight in India at that time (when I was there) and I thought one risk was okay

Almost 40% into The Last Wali of Swat, it's been a very interesting read so far, he reminds me a lot of my own grandfather, although I only saw for once a year maybe.

So far BAP reads like he's just saying stuff, "Is true you know" he just says shit. This is a lot of what the right today does, just say stuff, and anyone who disagrees "cannot see the obvious truth" and anyone who agrees, agrees.
But yea I like reading BAP, its funny and it is, well written, and he's not always wrong.
