Entire legitimacy of traditional hindu caste system is via telltale stories. Brahmins claiming descent from legendary saptarishis, rajus claiming descent from sun and moon, Rama and even Krishna now, yadavs claiming descent from Krishna etc
So if Rajus want us to believe their claims of mythological greatness via descent from gods and great characters in puranas, then they must accept the rest of the puranas as well.
Parshuram wiped out kshatriya men from planet 21 times sparing women and children, many of these surviving Queens with no issue underwent niyog with brahmins to further lineage. This is a practice mentioned in smritis and puranas

Its just mythology, pajeet. In reality, rajputs have diverse origins. Various ruling clans and peasant clans rajputised in medieval period. Even some brahmins became rajputs like guhilas.
