One of my bua's name is Bhainwari. It is a Sindhi word/phrase which means - Bhaiyon wali.
My grand-parents named her Bhainwari hoping they will have sons after having 4 daughters in a row and out of them the eldest one died when she was only a week old.
As the matter of fact my grand parents did have 2 sons consecutively after 4 daughters but the sons were followed by 2 more daughters after them
I also know someone named Ant (अंत) as her parents wanted to stop the line of daughters after her and have sons. Good thing she got to change her name post marriage
